Food industry is used as acid taste agent, color retention agent, preservative, emulsion stabilizer of egg yolk, etc. DL malic acid is a kind of food acid taste agent, which is especially suitable for jelly and fruit based food. It can maintain the color of fruit juice. It is widely used in 1. production of beverages (such as various fruit juices, red wine, fruit wine, lactic acid drinks, yogurt, etc.); 2. Frozen snacks (ice cream, fruit juice, etc.); 3. Processed food (chewing gum, soft candy, jelly, colloid, preserved fruit, sauce, edible vinegar, margarine, pickles, etc.).
